New CREASE blog post

See this new blog post by Van Anderson on the topic of getting CREASE to work on the SPHERE testbed.

CREASE is a network debugger for testbed experiments — to find out more about CREASE, see this paper.
You don’t need to install anything to use CREASE on FABRIC. See this artifact for an example.

Up to now, CREASE has been developed on and for the FABRIC testbed, but we’re looking to extend its debugging capabilities to other testbeds and to cross-testbed experiments. Van’s blog describes some of the issues encountered. The SPHERE port was made possible thanks to help from Alexander Wolosewicz and support from the FABRIC and SPHERE teams. A huge thanks to all!

In addition to researchers, CREASE is also being used by networking students to learn about distributed systems and data networks. See Alexander’s introductory blog post on teaching to find out more.
