Komal Thareja holds a significant role as the lead software architect and developer across multiple projects supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), including FABRIC. As a software engineer at RENCI, she brings to the table her expertise in database applications, cloud orchestration (IaaS), distributed systems, and scalable computing. Komal is not only instrumental in shaping the control software for next-generation networks and experimental testbeds like FABRIC but also plays a crucial role as a key contributor to the Jupyter examples utilized for interacting with FABRIC, as well as the user-facing API FABLIB. Prior to her current scientific endeavors, she amassed extensive corporate experience, focusing on architecting and implementing applications within the mobile communications industry.
