If you are new to FABRIC and its forums, take a look at this short article to learn about asking for help.
I (e9db6486-f01a-4284-a3c1-335b17c3a825) am having a problem with the VM recognizing the GPU assigned to the slice. lscpi sees a gpu, but not an nvidia card, so can’t load nvidia drivers. I am using JupyterHub to configure the slice, from WASH, using version fablib 1.9.3, running Rocky 8, assigned a Tesla T4, using fabric port, and recently adding permanent storage. I have used this same configuration before, without the permanent storage and lscpi did recognize the T4. I have also created a test slice, with and without the permanent storage and gpu, a single nic(basic) and nothing else. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I also tried running dnf update, thinking that might help, but it did not. I am unable to assign a different gpu, and must use WASH.
thank you in advance for your assistance
