      Dear Experimenters,

      The FABlib API and Jupyter Examples have been updated to support new capabilities introduced in Release 1.5. Please read the release notes for more details here. The new version of FABLib and Jupyter Examples is now available in Jupyter Hub Bleeding Edge Container.

      Here are some highlights of the release:

      • Support for listing facility ports
      • Early detection of bastion connectivity failures
      • Network Configuration has been made idempotent and can be re-applied post reboot
      • Provisioning Port Mirror Network service described in detail here
      • CPU Pinning and Numa tuning – users can now request to pin virtual CPUs and memory for their node to specific physical CPU and Numa nodes on the host machine for performance optimization
      • FPGA – users can now request FPGAs to be connected to their nodes
      • Multiple SSH Keys – users can now pass multiple keys to their slivers when provisioning a slice

      For local python environment updates, you can install the latest version via the command and get the Jupyter Examples here.

      pip install fabrictestbed-extensions==1.5.2

      Thanks,

      Komal
