Dear experimenters,
We will be updating FABRIC production infrastructure with the new software in the indicated timeframe (Mon-Wed 08/29-08/31), during which time the Portal, Orchestrator, Jupyter Hub and all other services will be unavailable. To avoid disruptions of your experiments please be sure to *renew your slices ahead of time* – your experiments should not be affected and you may in fact continue using the provisioned resources, however you won’t be able to create new slices or renew existing ones while the maintenance is in effect.
During this time you may notice that some of the services become temporarily available, we encourage you not to use them until a message is posted on this thread announcing the completion of the maintenance period.
Dear experimenters,
We were able to finish the update early, FABRIC is open for business again. Please look at Release Notes for this release for the new features that are now available. If you had slices and they were extended prior to maintenance, they should still be available to you to continue working on them.
