hello
I am collecting performance metrics and displaying using Grafana. the traffic from a node interface is displayed as packets/sec (in/out). In some interfaces the y axis shows mps. What does mps stand for? On a google search mps stands for million packets per second. But at an idling node I cannot expect that much traffic.
I have looked up documentation on Grafana – but unable to get interpretation for several variables that are being displayed on the dashboard.
any pointers to documents that can help?
Those use the SI prefixes see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_prefix
So lower case m would be milli or 0.001 or 1/1000 of a packet.
Capital M would be mega or 1,000,000 or a million packet
