Reminder Announcement: FABRIC Software Update 1.7 and Scheduled Maintenance

Dear Experimenters,

We are starting the maintenance on the FABRIC Testbed that was announced via emails from the FABRIC Team.

We will actually take the testbed to the maintenance mode tonight at 11pm.

Dear FABRIC Users,

This is a reminder that FABRIC will be releasing the software update 1.7 next week. To implement this update, scheduled maintenance will take place next week from July 15 to July 19.

During this maintenance period, the FABRIC testbed will be down and inaccessible. As all nodes are powered off and their control software reinstalled, all running slices will be lost.  Hence, we strongly advise you to check point and backup any valuable data for your experiments prior to July 15.  Once the maintenance completes, you will need to start your experiment slice from scratch.

If you have any questions or concerns about the software updates, please do not hesitate to reach out to the FABRIC leadership team.
