Traffic Prioritization within the Same Site

Dear FABRIC Team,

I hope you are doing well. In my experiments, I am using L2PTP tunnels between sites with guaranteed bandwidth. However, within the same site, between the senders and the tunnel entry point, I suspect that cross traffic may be introducing jitter and packet loss.

Is there any way to elevate the priority of this traffic within the site as well, in order to reduce the impact of other traffic?

Fatih,

It sounds like you are seeing this cross traffic when using L2Bridge network service within a site, is that correct?  If so, are you using SharedNIC on your VM, which is an sriov interface,  so will be shared with others, and there is no good way to guarantee bandwidth.  If you use SmartNICs (25 G ConnectX-5 or 100G ConnectX-6) instead, then you can get dedicated bandwidth.
