Enhanced Forum Text Editor with Code Snippet Support and More!

Dear experimenters,

You may have noticed that the text editor in this forum is updated and now you can use BBCode to format your content. BBCode is a lightweight markup language used to format messages in many forums. Similar to HTML, BBCode uses opening and closing tags: [tag]text[/tag]. (A guide to BBCode) Please follow the steps below to insert Code Snippet to your forum post.

• Switch the TinyMCE Editor to Text Mode;

• Use opening and closing tags: [scode] [/scode] around the code snippet you’d like to insert (pasted code should have proper indentation, if not, please adjust properly);

• Add other content as needed, then submit the post.

The process to add other elements using tags are similar as above, such as for inserting Youtube video, Table, Image, etc. Generally speaking, If you cannot find the proper way to format your content using TinyMCE editor by default, you’re welcomed to try BBCode. It requires a bit learning, but you’ll love it!
