Failed to Login into FABRIC VM

I followed step-by-step in https://learn.fabric-testbed.net/knowledge-base/logging-into-fabric-vms/ but still got authentication failures.

I also tried the troubleshooting tip,

ssh -i ~/.ssh/fabric_bastion -C2T -D 14000 -M -N username_0123456789@bastion.fabric-testbed.net

and it returned

Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic).

Any advice?

This should work.  Can you confirm the following?

• You replaced “username_0123456789” with your bastion user name from the portal.
• You replace “~/.ssh/fabric_bastion” with the actual path to your bastion private key
• Your bastion key is not more that 6 months old

Hi Paul,

• I did copy the “bastion login” from the portal and used it in the above troubleshooting command line.
• “~/.ssh/fabric_bastion” is the path for the private key. I also tried the absolute path and the result is the same.
• That key was created about ~ 1 hour ago.
