      Hi,

Is there a way to link a publication to a FABRIC project?

The FAQ tool seems to point to a “publication” section of the project info but when I click there I just get “No publications associated with this project yet.” and no “add” button.

Am I looking at the right place?

        Hi Romaric,

We may not have the on Portal yet. But if you share which publication needs to be associated with the corresponding project we can update that for now. We will also work to address this on the portal.

Active FABRIC users can add their own publications using the publication-tracker service directly.

        • Navigate to: https://publications.fabric-testbed.net/
        • Choose Login from the upper right corner and use your FABRIC credentials
        • Click the “Publications” tab at the top of page – if you are an active FABRIC user you should be presented with a green “Create Publication” button – Press that

The simplest way to create your publication is to paste the BibTex information into the box labeled BibTex. If you want to also associate the publication to a particular FABRIC project, then paste the project UUID into the Project UUID field, and press “Save”.

Because author names in BibTex format may not always exactly match a FABRIC name, there is the option to self-identify after the publication is created. This can be done from the landing page for the publication of interest, and then clicking on the author name and populating the corresponding FABRIC UUID for that user.

        Thanks,
