If you had screenshots attached, they did not travel well. Please try re-attaching.
OK we will create an internal ticket for this. You will get a separate email about it.
Thank you for providing this info, we will definitely take a look.
Would you mind posting this to FIP-153 (responding to the email)? We are tracking this case there.
Opening up public connectivity from FABNetv[4,6] on demand is a feature that is currently in testing for a small number of projects. We expect general availability of this feature with the Release 1.4.
Please post the slice IDs of those that are stuck, we will take a look.
We are experiencing a heavy load and we are still optimizing the behavior. Your slice should eventually complete, but you may need to be patient.
Thanks for pointing this out – we have discussed augmenting this behavior. We will see if we can get this feature into the next release.
OK, I’m not seeing anything obvious – your slice is good through 2022-09-23 21:23:41+00:00, but at least the TACC VM is not responding to pings. We will create a ticket for this and copy you on it.
Absolutely! We would love to get community contributions to the code.

If you are working for a class, your professor probably pointed you to a specific Jupyter notebook to run that will create a slice that you can then login to.
The portal currently doesn’t properly show the management IP address so, yes, you should use a notebook instead.
They will go away eventually. You can create new slices with different names though – that shouldn’t be a problem.
Timothy,
I don’t think this is supposed to produce JSON – this just prints out Python data structures.
fabric_cli is a very low level tool – are you sure you want to be using it instead of FABlib and the notebooks?
