      Thanks Ilya.

      Any jupyter examples that I can use to test option 1?

      thanks

        thanks Hussam, that worked. I was able to set up my slice and all the nodes are PTP enabled.

        I notice a few notebooks – under the section on precision_time_measurements. I will check them out.

        I am Ok with using phc2sys – will give it a try

        thanks

          hello Hussam, I went through the tutorial. How to find out if a site supports PTP?

          thanks

            Hello

            I am following up on this question. Recently, we had to install a software in one of our VMs. it required rebooting the VM and all our addressing and configurations on the VM was lost. we configured our interfaces using specific addresses (not sure what the auto mode is). It was necessary to set up the IP addresses as we were using BGP. The interface names also changed from ethx to enps..

            I have the same question. Can we get back our configuration?

            thanks

            Nirmala

              Thanks Mert. The proposed approach works. Was able to install Kali-linux-everything on an Ipv6 machine and was able to conduct some tests

                  Hello I tried adding the mirrors.jevincanders.net ipv4 and ipv6 address in /etc/hosts on an ipv6 Fabric node. I am still getting not able to connect even when using Kali-default. attaching a doc with errors.

                  When I tried with an IPV4 node and Kali-default it worked.

                  As most of the sites seem to operate on IPv6, so this will be a problem for us. Also the data center topology that we set up has many nodes, so I need sites that has that many resources.

                    Hello

                    how do I find out which sites support IPv4 and which one support IPv6 or both?

                    thanks

                      Thanks Mert, I will check it out. I don’t remember using specifically IPv6 Fabric node. we used debian 11 and I tried to install kali-linux-everything. will check out with Kali-linux default. My friend from our security dept provided the link that we used. I am reaching out to him for more clarifications. They use Kali Linux for all the security labs.

                        Hello,

                        I have several RIT students who are working on my projects on fabric. so I do not understand the RIT does not have a valid registry endpoint with CILogon

                          hello Komal,

                          I deleted the WASH slice. I currently reserved another slice in CLEM site. My server crashed just after the resources were reserved. when I tried to connect again I get this message

                          “Failed to load resource information. Please reload this page”

                          I have reloaded multiple times and still unable to access the new slice

                            the script is not working. I was unable to get back the assigned addresses. if there is some solution to this problem that would be very helpful

                            thanks

                                Hello

                                I used the configure.ipynb from jupyter-examples-rel1.6.0.

                                the requirements .txt shows

                                fabrictestbed-extensions==1.6.0
                                python-dotenv
                                ipython==8.12.0
                                fabrictestbed-mflib>=1.0.4

                                pip install uses this requirements file.

                                The version before this shows 1.5.4.

                                  When I run it in my code directory – I am able to save.

                                  attached is the error capture
